Putting Things Out On The Internet

As an musician/producer/gamedev I put out a lot of shit on the internet, I'm currently in the process of prepping to do even MORE shit with videos/streaming. The problem is I don't put out things that people can just take a look at and carry on with their day.

What?

When someone puts out a drawing or painting or digital art it's super easy to look at for 30 seconds, go "Wow that's really good" and leave their interactions however that may be. With what I put out it requires an investment of time/energy/attention, you can't spend a couple of seconds listening to a track or playing a game or watching a video and come to any conclusions, so many just don't bother.

This is often quiet easy for me to ignore, but it becomes harder when your friends who you thought would look at it just ignore it but then oogle and praise some drawings that another does. I sound petty don't I?

There isn't a point to be made here, nor is there a solution either, I just need thicker skin and to not be a baby about it all really, I just wanted to write about it because I'm hot and bothered and just felt like it haha. I'll pick a happy topic to write about next
